I like this song. It reminds me of Buckingham Blues, extolling the virtues of the easy life. Though, I think it's a much better song than Buckingham Blues.

Of course, This Is The Life, is used on "Johnny Dangerously", a decent movie. Have you all seen it?

The music video is typical of most soundtrack music videos, movie clips intermixed with the music video. So, it's nothing really special.

The song is very catchy and fun to listen to. It gets you movin'. It's better than the movie it's written for, as far as I'm concerned.

I dunno, I think the video of Al (in between the movie clips) is pretty darn funny. :)
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

I like the footage of Al, too. I think he captured the look to match the movie. I have a favorite screen grab from this video. Look at the woman sitting next to Al. She looks a bit ferklempt to be sitting next to him:

Definitely Al-gal material.

;)
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

This is the Life is a good song.

The video makes it.

The movie is pretty decent from what I remember. Then again, I'd say Michael Keaton is decent in most of his movies, but that's a different topic.
That's what you get when you let your heart win.

I like this song. The line "If money can't buy happiness, I guess I'll have to rent it" always cracks me up.

I think that's probably the best line of the song.

You only get to hear "This is the Life" if you own the DVD of Johnny Dangerously. It plays during the opening credits. Otherwise, you get to hear "Let's Misbehave" instead. My BiL bought me the VHS for Christmas a few years ago, not knowing this. He remembers Al's song from the movie, though.
