Well I posted that I got tickets to this and Glenside, but the person that "got" them for me didnt actually get them. I'm a tad ticked off. so now I have to come up with some cash today to try and get to this show. If not Im just gonna hang out in Wilmington all day and see if I can say hi.

Yep, Mike was looking at the top on my head the whole time. If I have a bald spot, please don't tell me.
The theater was smaller than I remember. Or maybe I'm getting bigger. I had good seats, sat next to albinodwarf27 in the third row. Al rested his elbow on the empty chair next to me during WBUL and sung to the woman next to me. (Who the heck bought 3rd row seats and didn't show up?
). I was too close for streamers, but in a good spot for Yankobucks. But
to all of you who cheered when he said NJ sucks. Al was having fun picking on someone in the front row who didn't wave their arms during AP, and apparently was sitting there judging him the whole show.
Got intercepted on my way to the bus by Bermuda and had a good conversation with him for a while. Al finally came out at about 11:30 for autographs only, no pictures, though he didn't turn anyone down who wanted a picture. Bumped into Steve on the way back to the car. I wasn't sure if he saw me in the audience, but he said he did. Chatted with him for a few moments before he had to finish gathering his stuff, as they're driving to NH tonight.

Great show - what a beautiful theater - and I don't want to hear about my bald spot, either! It was such a shame that we had two empty seats in our row and Mike was up in the balcony. First time I've been right in front of Steve, he's a lot of fun to watch. This was also the first time I heard WDTAHTM.
Greg, I feel awful about this but I was in my seat before I realized that I had NO petition pages in my purse. They were back in the car. I was surrounded by friendly people who would have definitely signed it, which just added to my frustration. I'll make it up to you at the Keswick and PNC shows!
The woman next to me had a great laugh, she was really enjoying the show. We bonded over the fact that we were both there without our kids, lol. I thought it would feel weird but... only a little bit.

Lauren, what you need to remember is that Al is just as fond of his stammering fans as he is of the ones who can put sentences together in his presence.
And the stammering fans are probably in the majority.

"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Ok it was a great show. Al did a whole bunch of berry donuts. Blueberry, strawberry, boysenberry, gooseberry and Halle Berry. "And we would save a whole lot of time if you would just TELL ME WHAT YOU DO HAVE!" Thats pretty much my review as I am very tired. Fortunately I only had to work 11 hours today instead of 12.
Oh and I forgot that one of the cheerleaders for this show is apparently a fan too. It seems to be a trend for this tour. She was on the side of the stage during Albuquerque singing along and bouncing along to the song. I ended up watching her more than Al for the finale. I wanted to try and find her after the show and say how much fun I had watching her having fun. I always like watching other people have fun at the shows. It adds to my enjoyment. Plus she was hot.
