I'm getting Uber-excited, too!

I have lots of blank sheets for the RRHOF in case they're needed. One thing we might want to consider is to take one of those little adhesive address labels to put somewhere on each blank sheet, so in case they get misplaced/lost there's at least an official name & mailing address for reference.

Does that make any sense?

I just read the thread again, I didn't see a time for meeting? When are you there on July 17? Concerts starts 8.15 PM right?

What are you doing the others days?

Concert is at 8PM.

I will be there a few hours early getting signatures and wandering the fairgrounds. That's pretty much what I'll be doing every day. I may get there later on some days, but I know the first day I'll be there probably around 5 or so.

Same here. I'm also going to try to find some fennel (funnel?) cake. I've never had it before.

I don't think we'll have a problem finding each other.

haha- it's funnel cake. The name comes from the original process used to extrude the dough into the hot oil- through a funnel. I don't know if I'd wanna eat "fennel" (like the herb) cake haha.

If you've never had it before, make sure to get plenty of powdered sugar on it... and maybe get the jam/preserves on the side. Try it without fruit first.

Funnel cake. I love funnel cakes. You need to have one. Last time, Cinnamon got me one with strawberries on it. Yummy!

Oh, I love those too. I need some of those. I'll be there mega early, like at 2-3pm. Later on, I'll look for the petition to sign. The days keep winding down!

I'll be leaving from work each of the workdays so it's a dice roll when I get there [*puts incense on the high altar of the freeway traffic spirits*]. I was careful not to schedule people late in the day on those days. The only day I can actually be at the fair is Saturday.

My soldering mojo has taken a vacation [I'm just not getting the flow I like, don't know why] so the nametags are being assembled using an alternate 'faux' technique, but they remain nifty.

This is the last call for a WOWAY nametag for the OC Fair. If you want one post or PM me before this weekend!

I already have everyone who has PM'ed me down-if you are coming with someone and they want a tag I need to know their names, too, not just 'I'm Noodles of WOWAY and I'll be coming with my son' unless he wants to be known as e.g. 'Son of Noodles of WOWAY' or some such thing.

I'm getting so jazzed.......

I'm just so excited. I can't wait!

I love fair food! Granted, the only fair food I've had at the OC fair is funnel cakes, but it's yummy! Everytime I go to a fair, I try to get a funnel cake. Yummy goodness.

I'll be there on the 18th! Woo! I can't wait to see everyone again and meet people I haven't met before.

Oh yeah, the band too. They're important.
