Sure, I'm a big fan of comic novels, and any book with a howler that huge in it has got to have lots of other inadvertent funnies.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

Maybe they meant that one of the fake song writers is dead...

RIP Weird All.

We'll never forget you or your classic song "Barney's On Fire." :(

edit: I actually spelled it "w-i-e-r-d" (on purpose) but the filter fixed it. :P

I've recently started watching KOTH, and I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what reference you are referring to...um you know what I mean, right? What episode was it? Can & will someone fill me in?

Mucho thanks.

I don't know what the episode is called but it's when the father says something along the lines of Weird Al blew his brains out back in the 80s when people stopped buying his records. It's something like that ... Al usually shows the clip at his concerts.

 I thought about doing that too, but then I remembered about that darn little auto-correct.

Hank: Bobby, what's the idea of acting up in class?

Teacher: Acting out, Mr. Hill. We call it acting out.

Bobby:I just sang a song parody dad. Like "Weird Al" Yankovic-h.

Hank: Bobby, Al Yankovic-h blew his brains out in the late 80's after people stopped buying his records. He's not worth getting into trouble over.

Oh dear... That All Things Yankovic parody is a real hoot, few things in the world are as funny as this one. And that segment about Al's "death" is a very clever parody of showbiz goings-on, as well as many Americans I've asked about Al were sayin' "It's fantastic!!!" instead of "He's fantastic!!!" as if Al was some euphemeric cultural phenomenon. Well, of course, he IS a cultural phenomenon, but something tells me those people wouldn't be very surprised if they found out that Weird Al was played by several impersonators. X*
