I first got the video Alapalooza: The Videos before I got this album, and knew that Jurassic Park and Bedrock Anthem were on this album, so I thought that all of the songs on the album were supposed to eb related to dinosaurs and the stone age. Then I got the TV Album and was surprised when I read in the booklet that Talk Soup and Frank's 2000 inch TV were included, wondering what they had to do with dinosaurs or stone age. But the album is still good.

Jurassic Park 10/10 I think this was a good choice for the lead-off single. The music video is very good, and the song is catchy.
Young, Dumb & Ugly 8/10 Another good song.
Bedrock Anthem 7/10 Not my favorite on the album, and one of my least favorite of Al's music videos. I find it sad that in Al's "Behind the Music" special that there's talk of this video but hardly any talk of Jurassic Park, the albums lead single (the only sense it makes is that thi was Al's first video that he directed, after Christmas at Ground Zero)
Frank's 2000'' TV 10/10 A very good song to listen to. One of Al's best original TV songs.
Achey Breaky Song 1/10 Why is this included on Greatest Hits Volume 2?
Talk Soup 8/10 Good, but not as good as Frank's 2000'' TV.
Livin' in the Fridge 10/10 This one should have been made as a full music video.
She Never Told Me She was a Mime 2/10 I like the irony, but it's not Al's best love song.
Harvey the Wonder Hamster 10/10 A classic! Belongs on Greatest Hits Volume 3 (if that ever gets released). I was confused when I first heard this song, wondering why it was so short.
Waffle King 9/10 Al's only song about waffles.
Bohemian Polka 10/10 Why is this listed as a parody in the linear notes? The lyics aren't any different from Bohemian Rhapsody. Only the title and music are different. It's more of a cover (I don't consider the other polka medleys to be covers because Al sings parts of each song on those medleys). But it's still one of the best. This is funnier than the Queens version.

Talk about a serious topic bump...hahahaha...

This was actually one of my favorite albums that he's ever released.
I don't know, but a mixture of the fact that I was liking EVERY single song he parodied on this album, and that every original song was so FREAKING awesome, just made me fall madly in love with this album.

I love Al's new stuff, but every time I play this album, my face always cracks a smile EVERY time, and my mood always improves drastically, which doesn't always happen.

heres what I think, I think this album is my least favorite Al album:
1. Jurrasic Park 7/10 - I don't really listen to that song too much, but its ok
2. Young Dumb And Ugly 6/10 - I always skip this one
3. Bedrock Anthem 7.5/10 - I don't like the flinstones, but I like the song
4. Frank's 2000" TV 9/10 - probably my favorite song on the album
5. Achy Breaky Song 7/10 - I like the song, but I don't like country music
6. Traffic Jam - I don't know what to say about this one
7. Talk Soup - I don't know what to say about this one
8. Livin In The Fridge 8/10 - I never skipped this one
9. She Never Told Me She Was A Mime - 2/10 - I think this one is pointless
10. Harvey The Wonder Hamster - 6/10 - I don't need to say anything about it.
11. Waffle King 8/10 - one of my favorite songs on the album
12. Bohemian Polka 9/10 The first polka song I heard.
Rice in my Laundry, Lice in my Milk.

Alright well, here is my review of the album, I didn't really do that in my last post:

1. Jurrasic Park 7/10 -I'm actually not the biggest fan of this song because of how over-dramatic it seemed (which I know it was supposed to be..) but it was just too cliche of the movie. The video helps redeem it quite a bit, though.

2. Young Dumb And Ugly 9/10 - The anthem of my youth - I never was too rebellious, and all the things I did that were, would be considered mediocre if best. It's a bit hard to understand the lyrics in a few places, but I really love this style.

3. Bedrock Anthem 8/10 - I wa always a huge fan of the Flintstones, so this song always made me chuckle quite a bit. But I wasn't a very big fan of Red Hot Chili Peppers around this time, so I didn't always listen to this song. Still a masterpiece of its own sort, however.

4. Frank's 2000" TV 10/10 - I completely adore this song, and mostly because I've grown up being a big fan of The Beatles and other artists in that style, and this one had a vibe as if it was written by THEM. There's a cute little story to this too, the first time I heard this, I ran and grabbed my guitar, and learned the entire song. About a week or so later, I went out on my first date with my current girlfriend and fiancee, and this was the first song I ever played for her, so it's kinda 'special' in its own way for both of us.

5. Achy Breaky Song 6/10 - I lived in Michigan when the original Billy Ray Cyrus song was popular, and it must have been blaring out of every single radio station fifty times a day out there...so forgive me, but I hate this song.

6. Traffic Jam 9/10 - I've never been in traffic jams anywhere near this ridiculous, but I sure can relate (as I'm sure many people do) to this song! Great stuff!

7. Talk Soup 10/10 - The prequel song to Jerry Springer! Hilarious then, and hilarious now!

8. Livin In The Fridge 10/10 - Big fan of the original, and this song is just as good, if not better! Probably one of my most overplayed songs off this album.

9. She Never Told Me She Was A Mime - 7/10 - A great song, don't get me wrong, but on top of not understanding all of the subtle 'mime jokes', I can't handle this song too many times.

10. Harvey The Wonder Hamster - 8/10 - While not really a song worthy of throwing onto an album, being an old classic, it is definitely great to have a clean cut recording of this finally!

11. Waffle King 10/10 - I love the instrument work on this song, and the lyrics crack me up without much effort every time I hear it.

12. Bohemian Polka 9/10 - Not my favorite Polka that Al's ever done, but the timing for this song being released was just perfect timing with Wayne's World and everything.

Overall, I'd probably give the album a 9 or 9.5 out of 10.
Like I mentioned in my other post, I love this album. :)

Jurassic Park - 10/10 Perfect, timeless parody.

Young, Dumb, and Ugly - 8.5/10 I actually really enjoy this song. I don't know why people rip on it so much. The bass guitar riff is awesome, as is the solo!

Bedrock Anthem - 7.5/10 Funny song but rather annoying.

Frank's 2000" TV - 10/10 Best original on Album. And to those who say it's not funny, when was the last time you've seen a delivery truck housing a 166.6 foot TV drive by?

Achy Breaky Song - 7/10 I won't mind listening to it if it comes up on shuffle, but not a song a deliberately turn to for entertainment.

Traffic Jam - 9/10 Very underrated original. Definitely better the first couple times than later times though.

Talk Soup - 7/10 Same thing I said about Achy Breaky Song, basically. The lyrics are pretty insane...

Living in the Fridge - 8/10 Better than Achy Breaky or Talk Soup, but has the same effect about choosing the song. I'll listen to it on shuffle, but rarely will I play it on deliberately.

She Never Told Me She Was A Mime - 9/10 Another underrated original that has some very cool guitar and saxophone work.

Harvey the Wonder Hamster - 10/10 Funny, especially since it's so short.

Waffle King - 8/10 Alright, but not hilarious.

Bohemian Polka - 10/10 Done perfectly.

Honestly, I expected to not totally love this album but I like it quite a bit!

Jurassic Park - 9/10 Love it! I like the bigness of it.

Young, Dumb, and Ugly - 8/10 I like this song pretty well. I was surprised how much it grew on me.

Bedrock Anthem - 7/10 I enjoy it but there are plenty of parodies I like above this one.

Frank's 2000" TV - 10/10 This is fast becoming one of my favorite originals.

Achy Breaky Song - 8/10 It's catchy and I like the message (songs DO get overplayed!)

Traffic Jam - 7/10 I like this song, but there are better originals even on this album.

Talk Soup - 8/10 I like the lyrics. It really hit the gist of the talk show world at the time he wrote the song.

Living in the Fridge - 9/10 There is just something about this song that I just really love-maybe slight epicness? I really would have liked to have seen an entire video for this one.

She Never Told Me She Was A Mime - 6/10 The music is pretty good, but the subject matter really just doesn't do it for me. It's too silly even for Al IMO.

Harvey the Wonder Hamster - 10/10 It just rocks!

Waffle King - 7/10 It's not bad musically at all, but I agree with those who say the lyrics aren't terribly hilarious(can get old)

Bohemian Polka - 5/10 Sorry, this polka just doesn't do it for me. It's my least favorite. I love the original but this polka isn't it for me.

I like Alapalooza, but I gotta say, some of the songs aren't that great. Notably, Waffle King, Jurassic Park, and She Never Told Me She Was a Mime. I like SNTMSWAM, but it gets a little old, fast.
