Before you go all out on the R Kelly parody which would truly need to be a marvel production-wise, I'd like to see you pull off a successful Confessions video which has a lot of room for maximum yuks if you can pull it off properly with all the right sight gags.
I couldn't tell a dirt clod from a plate of caviar.

I think you should definitely do it. I'd love to see a GOOD video for this song.Insane Ian @ Mar 20 2007, 12:36 AM wrote: alright, much like everyone here, i thought it was only ok. Some good gags (where they could be done) but overall...only "eh".
Still, it makes me wonder...should I go forward with my planned live action video for this song, or will i be just asking for undue comparissions to this already released animated version. I will say that YES some gags i was going to do were done (but they are lyrical gags) but my whole theme for thevideo is a bit different...similar concept, but better execution..
I will say...something someone mentioned about a direct R. Kelly parody image WILL be in mine...but I'm wondering if now I should even bother...
Still going ahead with my live action "Confessions Part III" tho...plus see below in my sig if you haven't seen my videos for "You're Pitiful"

For those having a problem loading the video (and in case you didn't see my earlier post), MySpace is having some sort of general system problem. I sent them an email several days ago, and they just said to have patience. I keep getting that blasted frowny face with the tear, too.
I got the same results with Seth Green's interview, no matter what link I used to approach the website.

Finally got to see it and I'm with most people. It was only OK, and I think they missed a lot of opportunity for added humor (like when they show Larry at the beginning... he should have been holding the wallet!) I think it will serve it's purpose though, which is to get more people to buy the album. I think that anyone who hasn't heard the song before is going to love it, and hopefully it will convince them to make the purchase.
That's great. I would love to do a Lego version myself.
Yes, please do! Based on the YP video you did, and the facts that this will be live action and have direct references to the original video, I think the only comparisons made will be how much better yours is.Insane Ian @ Mar 20 2007, 06:36 AM wrote: Still, it makes me wonder...should I go forward with my planned live action video for this song, or will i be just asking for undue comparissions to this already released animated version.
