OMG this stuff is great!
I loved how the animation lipsync was well done.
It was great for an animated video!
It exceeded my expectations (considering it was by doogtoons)
but I'm sure that there will be some critics of the video, but it really did do the song justice, considering it is a long song, and it's hard to pay attention to long song videos (in my opinion)
So, there you go.

I LOVED IT!!! (So much so that I added it to my MySpace page and emailed it to my friends.)
I had wanted to perform this song live action via lip-syncing, and this video basically did everything that I saw myself doing in that lip-sync.
As Akrovak said, it was spot on.
One of the better SOL videos, definitely.
>>>>>>>>>>>>^ That's the guy who didn't like it. You'll notice he's the only one.
(Apologies for all the smilies, BTW. Just trying to make a joke.)

I am shocked, offended, and a little turned on.

I'm kinda middle road. It was good, not great. Not really the animator's fault though. The song is great but so extremely detailed, that anyone who has heard the song got a pretty much exact picture in their mind of what was going on. I don't think there was really much the animator could do but just bring it to life the way he saw it which is the exact same as the rest of us saw it. Which made the video very predictable and overall not very clever. He did manage to whip in a few of his own jokes though. Such as the couple getting blasted by the music and Eugene misspelling his name on his name tag. Both were pretty clever. Right before the album came out, when it was first announced that there were going to be six animated videos and then I saw them I thought it was pretty cool. Now with this and Do I Creep You Out video, the whole animated video thing is just kinda getting old. Especially the ones done in Flash. Even though none of these videos were really made by Al, the six on the album all had a very different look to them, with one being old videos, two being flash, one being traditional animation, one done mostly in pencil, and one claymation, made each one very original and fun to watch. I liked the DICYO video because that one also had a distinctive look. I personally can do without more Flash videos. As for this one, I thought the animation was good, but the song just wasn't a good song for a video. Don't get me wrong, I love the song. But it's so discriptive it leaves little to the imagination. I would have rather seen a video version of Confessions or Canadian Idiot. Which I imagine we will probably get sooner or later.
Overall, the animation was good but the video was just to easy and predictable. I say next up, Confessions. Who agrees?

Woah. Big disappointment for me on this one.
About two minutes in, I found myself bored and wanting it to be over already.
It was basically a completely literal interpretation of the song, with no jokes added to the piece at all. A good Al video should ADD to the song with visual gags. This really had no visual gags whatsoever, unless you count the radio part. And it's especially important in a long video like this to have visual gags just for the sake of keeping the audience's attention. Look at how well R. Wappin did with "Albuquerque."
I kept thinking how great it COULD have been if they had done the same thing but also added a bunch of visual gags in the background. Think about how they do that on "Crank Yankers," the way they have posters and things going on in the background to add to the humor of the piece.
The facial expressions were kinda good, but so what? They're exactly the expressions you picture when you hear the song. Nothing special.
I wish R. Wappin would have done this video instead of Doogtoons.
