Mewrio, that would be great. But the wedding video would be speeded up (sped up?) and be played with the new polka.

Or it could be a themed polka -- wedding songs.

Possible titles...

"The Wedding Polka" (you know, like "The Wedding March")

"White Wedding Polka"

"'Till Death Do Us Polka"

"'Till Death Do Us Polka"

What a great idea... take all the songs that people actually do play at weddings (but which I'm sure Al and Suzanne didn't use) and set them to Al's accordion. I know I'm dating myself, but can you imagine "We've Only Just Begun" polka'd?

Til Death Do Us Polka. I like that.

I've heard some of White Wedding. That's screaming to be polkaed.

Feeeeeeeeeeelings, wo, wo, wo, feelings! polkafied, and in Al's most annoying cartoon falsetto, would be a hoot. This is a project Al really needs to do.

And shouldn't all the bridesmaids dresses be polka-dotted? And the Don Ho Hawaiian Wedding Polka could be the first dance? Followed by the Bangle's Eternal Flame Polka?

The only question about the album I didn't quite catch was why Al chose to sing, "This song is just six words long" as opposed to, "This song's just six words long." Was there an official word on this?

Well, accordion to alsongs.com... It actually *IS* This Song's Just Six Words Long. Anyone have the actual liner notes to verify?

I've been thinking about this because of my little sister actually ("Catherine, it's SEVEN words long!")...and my guess...no actual liner notes...my parents were a little slow...anyway, Al IS singing "This Song's just Six Words Long"...but since he had to make it fit the original, held out Song a little longer to sound like the "i" in "is"...that's just my take...

I wanna see the wedding!!! :( I get such a happy feeling just looking at those pictures, though...
