That scared me a little, considering I didn't see the above post.

Anyway, that's too bad about Viola. I always loved the banjo.

RIP, Mr. Viola.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Me too, for just a split second. My heart stopped for a second there. I quickly realized he couldn't be talking about our Al though.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

Speaking of Patton Oswalt, his "HBO Comedy Half-Hour" special will be airing on HBO Comedy this month. It's a really funny early showcase for him (shot around the time of his TWAS appearance), and this was how I first discovered his act.

Anyway, here are the airtimes (all EST)....

March 2, 3:40AM
March 6, 6:25PM
March 11, 1:30PM
March 22, 11:30AM
March 24, 6:55PM
March 28, 2:05AM and 3:05PM

I've also been keeping my eyes on their schedule for their Brian Haley special as well, but that hasn't turned up in a while.

Patton Oswalt has a fairly large role in the Reno 911: Miami movie, which was quite funny.

Peter Quaife of the Kinks (Lola) is a dialysis patient and he actually did a book of cartoons dealing with dialysis. So If you know anyone on dialysis its a neat book to get them. The Lighter Side of Dialysis

Well, ask and ye shall receive...or rather, make an off-the-cuff comment in a post on a moderately popular message board and ye shall receive.

Brian Haley's "One Night Stand" special will be airing on HBO Comedy throughout the month. It predates "The Weird Al Show" by about a decade and is hysterical. If you've ever wanted to see more of Brian Haley, particularly his style of comedy, this is essential viewing.

These are the air times (all EST):

April 12 - 4:15 PM
April 17 - 1:05 PM
April 23 - 5:25 AM, 10:00 PM

Last week (sorry, I forget what day it was) the Hanson boys were on Deal or No Deal. The contestant was a huge fan of theirs and they surprised her by being there and stayed while she picked cases (and sometimes helped). She hugged them every time she got a good case

Anyone here a fan of Deal or No Deal? It would be fun to see Al on that show with one of you... :)
