I just watched AL-TV and thought it was mediocre. The interviews were entertaining as always, though far from his finest moments. The K-Fed interview was a little obvious I thought. Someone in this thread wrote that they thought maybe he didn't need permission to make fun of Simpson and Federline. I would guess that this is somewhat true. He picked very VERY easy targets this time around.
Still... two funny interviews, a few funny gags in between, the Polkarama video. Otherwise, nothing that special...

The interviews were pretty obvious, and that's probably how he can get away with doing them. I'm glad to see a bit more edgy stuff, and the gags here and there were classic Al. Also, I think he might've plugged either the cd or his websites a total of 27 times, but I wasn't really counting. It got sort of annoying after a while.

He became Francine back in 76' and then he joined that cult. I think his name is Mother Shibubu now.

I love how Al plugged the Mothership and his myspace. I just found it rather amusing.
I dunno why, but I always find it amusing when he plugs his stuff. He does it so obviously that I love it. Just like how Al-TV appears everytime there's a new album.

The K-Fed interview was the best part about AL-TV. Sadly, no Harvey this time.
I agree that this wasn't as good as other AL-TV's, and I don't care how obvious the K-Fed interview was, I laughed my butt off, and so did Marshall.
As far as the hair-styling chimps at VH-1, say it with me: gel is not for volume, mousse is. Thank you.

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:
"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11
So awesome!

I'd like to amend my review by stating that I do not fault Al for the quality of this AL-TV. From what he told me at the White & Nerdy shoot, it was an uphill battle to even get this special on the air. I do agree with those who have said an online version would be better, though logistics would certainly need to be worked out.
