Donde los yikes!

That's really bad. :( It's gonna be tough to still find him funny again in UHF and Seinfeld after that disgusting performance. (Was he the opening act for Mel Gibson or something?)

Still, did anyone get slightly offended (in a different way) when the audience member told him that he "ain't never had no movies"?

Another triple negative!

Even if I wasn't a huge Seinfeld fan, as a human being I am disgusted by this ... and while I'll still buy Season Seven when it comes out on the 21st, this really does take away some of the excitement I was feeling and leaves me wondering how the sales will be affected.

The video is disgusting, but a lot of the comments on that page are even worse.

Disappointing, to say the least.

That's really a shame that he went that route.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Provoked or not, that was not a good move.

I think if you're going to heckle someone, you can get heckled back. But to be fair, Richards hasn't really been in any other shows or movies that I can even remember, besides Seinfeld and UHF. It's an unfortunate incident, but probably a little overblown.

True that if you're heckled on stage, you are fine (even expected) to turn around with a snappy comeback. But said comeback should be disarming and witty. Richards' rant was neither clever nor the least bit funny. It just looks like he lost it.

Seinfeld and UHF are pretty much the only things Richards is known for. It's unfortunate that this incident will now probably be the only other thing he's known for, thereby tainting the fondness many have for the characters of Stanley and Kramer.

That was my initial reaction too. I've been planning to get it as a Christmas gift for a while now and I still do, but as I was watching it I'm just picturing in my head the consumers that will see it in the store, consider buying it, and then putting it back because they don't want to give the racist any royalty checks. And I feel bad for Jerry, Jason, and Julia because you know that any minute they're going to get hounded by the press for a reaction.

I don't know, I'd never really pictured that side of Michael Richards before, but wow, that was extremely over the top and unnecessary. Like mrmeadows said, I'm all for the comedian to make a snappy comeback, but one that's actually funny and doesn't make you look like a complete :censored: . Good luck finding work again.

Here's a short CNN story on youtube about it. Apparently, he was doing stand-up the next night at the same club...I guess he found work.
