Again, though, that's JibJab's style. All of their videos are like that. What makes this different is that in their other videos they just use pics of the politicians/celebrities that they find in the media. But here, Al had face shots made for them to use specifically for this video.Grom @ Nov 16 2006, 03:38 AM wrote: Something about the animation was off. Al seemed disproportionate (huge head, arms shrinking and growing) for a few of the scenes, and it was really distracting. Also distracting was how he was lipsynching some times, then doing some weird open/shut thing with his mouth other times.

I know it's their style, it just seemed that Al's actual character seemed to grow and shrink...most likely as complications trying to establish perspective (as he was lying on the ground after falling off the ladder was where I noticed it).
Still, it was very smooth animation and clearly took an amazing amount of detail and I respect the work they put into the video; it was just offputting sometimes and took me out of the video.

Hmm, more Al? I thought there was plenty of Al in there. Lynwood Al morphed into Taylor Al, and then it was Taylor Al all the way through from there.
I mentioned this before, and there are credits, but Debbie was played by Kiersten Cunnington. I have no idea who she is, but someone did ask.

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:
"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11
So awesome!

I loved this video... I think it really adds a lot to a song that I feel is generally underappreciated here.
The only problem I had is that jibjab.com was having problems giving me the video nice and unchoppy, so I had to wait a while to let it preload.

Mindless trivia: The suspect on the end that everyone believes looks like Jay is actually celebrated cartoon historian Jerry Beck.
