Ottawa, October 99: A hockey arena, we sat on chairs over boards over the ice. Kept the temperature in the venue nice and comfy. Great show. Al's 40th birthday. My favorite show ever

Dallas, March 2000: Bronco Bowl [RIP]. The venue was a concert hall and a bowling alley next to each other. Just loved it. Great concert.
Saugus CA, June 2000: Auto racetrack. A good show, although that was one where a guy who seemed to be on crystal meth jumped on the stage at the end and was being wrestled down by security guards while Al was introducing the band. "Jim West!... Steve Jay!...Ruben Valtierra!...Crazy Guy!...Jon "Bermuda" Schwartz!"
Vacaville, CA, Summer 2000 [August, IIRC]: Venue was a recently constructed minor league baseball park. The stage was set up in the outfield. Those of us who had paid for seats were in bleachers, and those who had paid less were actually closeer to the stage; so of course we stalwarts staked out the cheap seats right up front and graciously offered out comfy bleacher seats to anyone who wanted them. Squirrelygirl and I were right up at the edge of the stage. Boy, was Bedrock Anthem interesting, REALLY high kicks, I actually blushed

Some place in the middle of nowhere, western Pennsylvania, October 2000: Al's 41st birthday. The concert was in a roller rink. Awful acoustics. I got a migraine headache and had to leave at the start of the medley

I don't recall any nonstandard venues for my PH shows, and of course the 2002 shows were all at the OC Fair.
Oh I would LOVE to go to New Zealand, but there's no way I can afford a trip like that right now.
Cheers, Diva
Back down memory lane, still blushing at the recollection of Vacaville 2000 O-)
