Thank you, YouTube!

Ben Folds on Conan

Apparently, Ben has been filming a video wearing a pirate costume, so that's why he wore one here. I loved it! I was laughing pretty much from the get-go, but when he said "You've got to learn to live with what you...argh", I died! I like the song. This is the first I've heard anything from the new cd. I have to get it now.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

My reaction to the 'Argh!" was..."Is he going that far for the one joke?" Something that's cringeworthy and priceless all at the same time

But I didn't know about the video. That's great!
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

I didn't cringe. I'm all about corny jokes. hehe! I just LOLed. Seriously. I liked the sword fighting, too. Conan thought it was pretty funny that Ben had a weapon. Then he grabbed it, and sorta pointed it at Ben, who backed away. So great!

I didn't get the pirate costume at first at all..but the "ARGH!" was so perfect, it reminded me of Al..Ben really does have such a great sense of humor!

I'm so glad someone YouTubed this, I knew it was on but didn't get to watch it...the cd is actually mostly a compilation album, of all of the songs that came out on Ben's EPs that never got put on Silverman...so I've heard that song before, and it's a lot peppier and faster on the EP...I personally liked the way he performed the song live better than the EP, I really hope he plays it (and wears the pirate costume) in 23 days when he makes a stop at Fredonia!!! :D

Did you read my first post? Not sure why, but he's been filming a video wearing one. I actually thought he looked good in it. Maybe someone will find out more about the video, and the reasoning behind the costume. Of course, like Dingo said, Halloween is coming.

He doesn't really have a new album out. It's a cheesy compilation of previously released songs.

Well, it's new to me, since I don't own any of Ben's EP's.

Anyway, I enjoyed the clip, and the song.

Looks like Michael Richards (Stanley Spadowski from UHF) lost his cool on stage last week. Too bad, really. Here's an article
