go to the page where you view it in your browser

right click the video window, select properties

towards the bottom of the properties window, there should be a url, select the whole thing. copy it.

paste it in your browser or download manager. download the wmv. It is over 100mb so if you're on dialup be prepared to wait.

then, if you want it on dvd, I can't help you there. You'll have to get some authoring software and do it yourself.

Does anyone have this in a non-Windows format?

On the subject of artists having to give permission for AlTV interviews, has anyone Al interviewed in the past actually seen and commented on their segments?

It was my impression that Al had previously asked artists for their permission to use clips of them in his show, they just didn't know exactly what was going to be said.

I think the artists gave permission to MTV and VH1 to use their interviews however they see fit and therefore Al is able to use the clips to his liking.

I saw the editted version of this on YouTube a week or two ago, but I was so glad to see the full version linked from here. How awesome! I had no idea he could sublux his right hip as well (though it looks like it takes more effort for him to do that). I always kind of cringe watching him rotate the left hip to get it ready during Eat It on WAYLive, lol...but I was floored to watch him do it with the right (after, like 4 tries).

I loved all of this interview! And I loved seeing the "ire" come to the surface when he snapped up and SPOILER talked about the YouTube release of White and Nerdy ... He was so fiesty! LOL! But what he said about positivity and forgiveness was really cool SPOILER Are these really spoilers, lol??? Just doing this to make sure...I loved it when he said "Yeah, cuz if 500 people have seen it, it isn't an exclusive premiere anymore!" LOL But it really sounded like he was more irked at AOL than anyone on You Tube, or the caller...even after the caller added insult to injury with that comment on making him feel old--didn't you just love that laugh he gave?

I don't know if I'm alone in this, but I get this weird protective thing going sometimes, and when Tom was cursing or when drugs were mentioned, I was thinking, "Hey! Don't say that in front of Al!" lol, like he's never heard that before! Strange, but it is like someone saying those things in front of Mr. Rogers or something. It just doesn't fit!

Well, I'm rambling on. Just wanted to say that I loved the interview, including all the physical things everyone has mentioned, and I loved the chemistry they had. Al seemed to just get right into Tom's humor-zone (ie, cheese and sauce...lol), and when he tried to draw the question out of Tom with his hands and then jumped up by his side to be serious :D

Okay. I'm gonna stop typing now, lol.
Ham on, ham on whole wheat. All Right.

Actually, Cat, Al told Steven Tyler that he drinks the blood of virgins to stay young. That interview was part of ALTV 2K. I believe that was what Allison was referring to. ;)

Anyway, yes, Al looks fabulous!
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Yes, and in PH's AL-TV he asks Celine Dion how often she drinks the blood of virgins...to which she replies..."Every day"..guess it's a reoccurring Al-Tv Joke!! (even that many years later!)

Yes, I know. I was just saying he already admitted that he was doing that first, before discovering Celine was, too. Maybe she got the tip from him. :P

It's all good!

He's definitly got those reoccuring jokes in Al TVs: the blood of virgins, macrame class, "you got something on your face", that sort of thing

It's no big deal, just an interesting observation
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?
