I'm glad it didn't remain in his married memory. :satisfied:

QUOTE WAY: It was kind of a blind date, actually. A mutual friend set us up,
and we talked on the phone for a couple of weeks before we ever went
out. We got to know each other pretty well before I even saw her, and
I was really fond of her and attracted to her before I even knew what
she looked like.

Yeah, that's my favorite part. It's so sweet.

Just goes to show that some surprises are nice ones. Imagine a guy getting "really fond" of a woman and THEN finding out she looks like Suzanne.

OTOH, it must also have been wonderful for Suzanne to know for sure that it wasn't just her looks that attracted Al.

I know Al has...there was a girl at the concert I went to who had al sign her...err....and she tattooed it....(just kinda on top, but Al must have been in an awkward position :lookround: )

At one point in time, there was a website that chronicled an encounter where some guy asked Al to sign his butt.....it was complete with pictures. *shudder* One quote that stands out in my memory, however, is, "Don't forget to dot the 'i' extra hard!"

I found this mention in a Chicago Sun-Times article about satellite radio

QUOTE The two companies are selling competing, incompatible services, but practically identical concepts. Whether you subscribe to XM or Sirius, you're tuning into a couple of satellites that broadcast a digital signal containing about 100 channels of programming. The same signal covers the entire continental USA, so if you're road-tripping around the country following Weird Al Yankovic's summer tour, at no point will a death-metal station fade into static and turn into a rural Gospel Hour.

They must know Fred :)

Al must have mentioned her when the Sun-Times interviewed him for the article they published on July 25. :)

Press room water-cooler conversation: "Can you believe, he said there's a woman who's followed him all over the country, and he LIKES to see her?"
