Well, I see it this way. As well as the way above.

He probably doesn't want to release it because he is well known for being family-friendly. He's grown up and is a bit more classy than he used to be. He's no longer a college boy, so college boy type songs are pretty redundant, not to mention unnecessary.

So if it was about masturbation, he wouldn't want to release it.

On the other hand, we have Green Day. Millions of five year olds or older (or younger!) listen to them and a lot of their older songs are about masturbation. When they released AI, they grew up a tiny bit. Hence, no masturbation. (which I have said, what, three times? Gasp)

On a semi-related but off topic note, I see a few youngin's here, like younger this usual. Isn't their some digital privacy act of some sort that prevents us from knowlingly allowing people under 13 from registering and posting here? Just a though. Really I think The Internet should be something you should have to be 18 to use anywhere but the library, but I digress.

Oh thanks, shove me out why don't ya? :F

But seriously, with the Internet, don't you think it's people's choice to decide whether they're mature enough?

Only they know themselves, right?

TLP, sure, you're 17, but look at me! I'm younger than that! And... Well, this is the only post you'll see from me in this thread. So... TTFN.

Or their parents.

Seriously, how do their parents know they're mature enough or not? Kids need to discover stuff or it will be thrown in their face during puberty.

Discovery = good, natural, the way it used to be
Getting "the wonders of sex, a topic we should never, ever discuss because it's really really bad" thrown at you during puberty = bad, shocking, enough to make a teenage boy cry (true story)

Im not a prude or anything, but I still dont think the topic should have gone this far. I understand that it was because of what we think the theme of the song is, I feel we have gone a little too far in this conversation.

I have no idea what the song is about either... just responding to societal induced shock about 'adult' topics...

thanks for the reference. I have been through all of weirdal.com at one time or another but one could not possibly remember it all.

Indeed, the last few pages have been way off topic.

For those just tuning in, all you really need to know is that you will most likely never come across a recording or live performance of this song without some kind of DeLorean fitted with a Mr. Fusion and flux capacitor.

SPOILER If I must have an orgy on my own
Which I must because I'm such a sap
I'll never feel that I'm wholly alone
Because I know I have my bubble wrap.

I know I could have put something a bit more rude than "sap" to rhyme with "wrap", but decided against it.
Dave? Hello Dave? Is Dave there? There's a block in your t'ilet.
