one of my friends is a little techno whizz and he uses a tablet PC at school. He has the SOL cover [the one before the text was added] as his wallpaper and at lunch today this guy in our english class went over to look at the tablet, and when he saw the SOL cover he said "who's that tough guy?" When we told him it was Weird Al, he said "That funny guy?"

Well, this is my best guess as to what it is. (G-rated link) :D
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

She said, "My uncle went to college with Al, and he remembers him playing the accordion on the toilet!"

On the toilet? Did she mean "in the restroom" or.....oh heck, nevermind.

Brief Al mention about DDTS.

The text:

- "Weird Al" Yankovic's new single is called Don't Download this Song. You can hear it on his MySpace page or, naturally, download the MP3.

I really got the impression she actually meant "on the toilet".....what a visual! But isn't it hard to play an accordion sitting down?

No, not particularly - of course, it's easier to play standing but sitting down is no problem for me :)

Ok two things in two days. Yesterday I was filling out my paperwork at work and I have to fill out station numbers and machine numbers, and station 27 had 26, so I said "Ok, 27 is 26..." didnt even realize I did it at the time. Also today a patient was talking about growing up and how they were poor, and he said that there were some days that they only had sauerkraut, and I let out a little giggle. Then he said that some days he had saurkraut for breakfast, and I cracked up, and said "A big bowl of saurkraut, every single morning!" Everyone just gave me "the look"

I've already told this story in another thread, buuut here's the whole thing in more detail... today, at break at my school, me and a friend of mine-- Kathleen, a non-Al-fan-with-potential-to-become-one-- were chatting at break. I randomly referenced "If I Could Make Love to a Bottle", and, well, obviously, she's never heard it before, sooo I kindly (*snort*) recited the lyrics for her. Her expression on the last line was BRILLIANT. XD I couldn't stop laughing for a while.
Are we playin' horseshoes, honey? No, I don't think we are...
