Taylor Hicks!!!! Awesome! It's pretty easy to figure out which of Taylor's songs he'll be parodying.

I didn't follow American Idol that much, either, but don't judge too harshly. American Idol is a big part of pop culture, so this was destined to happen. I have no idea what song of his will be parodied, but, I'm sure it'll be great!
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Holy cow...Taylor Hicks? I'm not too much of an "Idol" fan (okay, not at all), but Al gets points for timeliness. That single just came out!
Bingo!

I'm guessing this was the actual replacement song for YP. Do I Make You Proud is an overblown power ballad that would fit right in on a sappy mix tape with You're Beautiful. It's a good counterbalance to the rap/R&B parodies!

I was just coming in here to ask if Hicks even had a song out yet  (Outside that damn Ford commercial that pops up every commercial break)

I don't think there's any question this is the YP replacement.

Reading into things here: I think this answers the unasked question of why Chamillionaire didn't tip the info on a fifth parody. Al probably didn't even know that's who he was parodying at that point
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

discuss!

I am not a big American Idol fan but I bet this parody is about American Idol.

I am not familiar with Hicks songs either....

well, seeing that he only has a few songs on CD right now, its not surprising that you haven't heard them.

Yipee! :D I can already imagine Al doing a great Taylor Hicks impression!
How much wood could a wood chuck chuck if the wood chuck's name was Prince?
