Well ya gotta remember that E, P & C are all TV ratings, not movie ratings, and X is strictly for videos.
Oh, and RC never gets shown anyway.
So that's lets see, 5 ratings.
Maybe we're just smarter than you.
But those 5 ratings do make it easier to decide. Have a deep, philosophical think about it. You'll soon see it from our point of view.

QUOTE UHF is rated M here, or at least it was when it was released on video. Probably be PG if it was re-released.
Where'd ya find that out? It wasn't even on OFLC! Anyway... DANGIT!
That's another thing... our ratings are set up by the government, and yours (americans) are just run by a group of people. That means our government is more dedicated to the people!, or at least in some WAYs.

I think that rating system actually makes more sense than ours. Gives you a better idea of what to expect. And on the UHF commentary, Al said the PG came from the Emo Phillips thumb bit and one other bit I can't remember offhand. Hey, I just woke up, and even though I watched UHF before I went to bed last night, I still can't remember.
Hmmm...something's gone horribly awry here...

I still don't understand the ratings on UHF...Sixteen Candles? That OTHER movie with Gedde Wattanabe? Yeah...that managed to use the F WORD more than once, have several PG-13 worthy scenes for Adult Content alone, and get a PG RATING!!
I'm convinced these people have no idea what they are doing...Most of the stuff in "American Pie" or its sequels doesn't belong at an R...maybe an R advanced...
Crazy, crazy, and more crazy...
ttyl all!
