Trey & Matt are friend with Al...they also put a audio commentary with Al in the Orgazmo special edition dvd...
Maybe one day they'll use al for something like a movie...but is really difficult cause they do all by themself...they don't wanna guest star on their shows or movies
Quante cazzate devo sparare ancora per OTTENERE un pò di RISPETTO???

On a lot of websites around the internet [including TV.com and snpp.com(which is almost offical website of The Simpsons)] it says that Ben Schatz guest stared in Al's episode of The Simpsons and that he is one of Al's band members. Is this just a mistake on a lot of websites? Or is Ben Shantz just a member of Al's band in secrecy? Also, if Ben is a member of Al's band, when in the episode did he appear?

I have the DVD. Although he's mention, I'm not sure if he's in the show... Lemme watch the DVD and I'll edit later with an answer. He was voice guested, so he's not in Al's band. But like I said, lemme watch the DVD and I'll edit with what role he played in the episode.

ETA: Hmm, the DVD doesn't properly credit Ben Shatz. Sorry, can't help you.

I always thought it was a miscredit to Bermuda, but then again, it's unlikely that they'd make that kind of mistake...

Ya know, before I posted the message above your's, Emily, I thought that, too! Since I had the DVD, I thought it was a best bet to look on the DVD case.

Accordion to TV.com, Ben is a longtime session player for Al , as well as former Executive Director for the Gay & Lesbian Medical Association.

For some reason, somewhere Ben was once credited as being "Al's band," which is where I think the TV.com info came from (of course, one should rarely trust that site anyway). On the couple of times I've looked up the name, I have only come across the gay advocacy information. It would make sense then for him to have a guest cameo given the theme of the episode.

Does anybody know if the song Homer and Marge, which Weird Al Yankovic performed when he guest starred in the Simpsons episode Two Gays of the Condo, was actually written by Al, or if one of The Simpsons writers actually wrote the parody?

I'm pretty sure one of the writers of The Simpsons wrote it.
Begone, foul beast!
