I read an article somewhere on the Web not too long ago written by some college kids for their college paper or something like that. They were not Al-oholics and were kind of dumb when it came to Al, but the thing that came across is that it seemed that Al was kind of depressed in the interview. I am pretty sure this was well before Al married so maybe now Suzanne is cheering him up. Ya gotta admit, it probably is pretty lonely being Al, even though you have a lot of fans, its probably hard to sift through them all to actually find a true friend, and even harder to try to find someone who is worthy enough (and TRUSTworthy enough) to want to marry. Don't know how true the interview is, but it seems it could be. Here's the link:

QUOTE It was going to be hard taking this guy seriously without alcohol, the social lubricant.
ok, not for some people, actually, all fans here that are "true"
QUOTE punk guitars for his Nirvana rip off song.
how can that be a rip off, one of the funniest videos of all time, being a rip off. you can not understand kurt without the lyrics
QUOTE called Al's album \"Jurassic Park\" (it's really called Alapalooza, but hey, the fu***g Jurassic Park logo is plastered on the cover of the album. It was an honest mistake!)
yikes, the WORDS are as big as the PICTURE on there.... hello, where did they get these guys from?!!?!?
and the topper!
QUOTE \"Well people keep writing good pop songs and you just cover them,\"
ooh, how much worse can you go to HIM?

Why were they even interviewing him. It doesn't seem like they knew anything about him to begin with! They said He STOLE the Kinks song. And excuse me but, "LA LA LA LA LA Yoda"? Did they listen to anything besides "Eat It" and that "Nirvana Rip Off"? Oh PAAALEEASE! If I would have been Al during that interview I w*ould have suddenly snapped into George mode, handed him a crow bar and begged them to bash me right in the friggin skull! Has Bobbi read that yet? She'll probably go into full MB mode. And yes we are all STUPID, but in the good sense!

I know, it is an insulting article written by a couple of self-centered, inconsiderate, childish twerps, so how can anyone take that sort of stuff seriously. All they ended up accomplishing was to embarrass themselves in a public forum.
Just consider the source. Are these the kind of people you would want as
friends? Do they seem intelligent, considerate, perceptive, sensitive, witty or mature? Then why should we even pay attention to an article written years ago by some pencil-necked geeks?
Their opinions aren't worth considering, so let's not bother ourselves
with it. It's a waste of time.
