Yams? That sounds funny!

Still doesn't mean the song can't be "Al!"

:P
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I like the idea of a song called "Al!"

Btw, Usher reminds of a young Ben Vereen, although Ben is a much better dancer. I can see what the appeal is when it comes to that.
Well, it doesn't have to rhyme with "Yeah" necessarily, it's just that with his parodies the chorus usually rhymes (or at least comes REALLY CLOSE to a rhyme, like "Fat" and "Bad") with the original chorus. In fact, it may be that he keeps the chorus intact like he did with "Headline News."

And yeah, I guess I can see the similarity with Ben Vereen. I have to admit that he's quite a good looking guy, and if I were ga...well, that's getting a bit off-topic. Let's move on. :F

I'm also wondering how he would parody Yeah when Dave Chappelle already spoofed the heck out of Lil' Jon.

How about an Al version of Confessions where he confesses to some really bizzare misdeeds?

I am quite familiar with Usher. If he did a Yeah parody could he do something like "Nah" (it would rhyme with Yeah). The song could be about all of the things the character in the song does not want. Kind of like the song I Don't Wanna Do That on the Dr. Demento show and on his 25th anniversary collection.

Not likely. Al's never done an autobiographical song before, unless you count OMM (hmmm, maybe "White and Nerdy" is meant to be autobiographical?). And he never references himself by name in song, with the exception of the theme song to his TV show, which doesn't really count.

Haha, I didn't get that at first. I thought you meant that all the fans could start singing it at the same time during a concert...

Haha, that would be an awesome idea, dontcha think?

All the more reason for him to start!

:P

I do like the "Nah" idea, too.
