Al has alternated between specific type of polka or generic polka.

PH - Angry White Boy theme
RWS - no theme
BHD - Alternative theme
ALA - Bohemian Rhapsody theme
OTDE - no theme
UHF - Rolling Stones theme
etc...

I'd venture to guess there'd be no theme on this album.

To clarify my JoS suggestion before, I am on the "Boulevard" bandwagon definitely, but I was just throwing it out there as a possibility (so I could claim credit later if I was right).

I would very much dig a Jesus of Suburbia polka (Hey, who wouldn't dig a 9 minute polka?

, but I don't see it. Outside of the novelty of a nine minute song being played on the radio, it wasn't much of a hit. So I'll just go straight up parody here.

As for a Green Day parody, I'm definitely thinking it's either Holiday or Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Possibly a computer based parody??

I did Boulevard of Broken Links, who knows.

A JoS parody/polka would be nice, but I doubt it will be included. It just wasn't the hit that the other songs being discussed were. While any average Joe would know AI or BoBD, I think a lot fewer would know JoS.

To avoid the Luke Ski-esque trap of catering too much to the nerds of the world, I'd like to think there'd be only one nerd type song per album. I'd rather see more songs about topics that are accessible to everyone.

And ryan, could you please take the hostility down a few notches?

Yes, I agree now. I already said that Mystik was probably right after he pointed out the one example. Thanks for giving other examples.

I just would rather see a Green Day parody this time.

Personally, I don't think it will be BoBD. Even thought it was really popular, that song's been parodied too much already. I think it would be more likely to be American Idiot or Jesus of Suburbia.
