Is AL-TV returning or did you find a nice interview? Just tell the folks here.

When I was little, I used to read "Disney Adventure's Magazine". I just remembered that they had a Music issue once, and Al was mentioned throughout the issue a lot.

One of the things that they said about him was that he was writting a parody of "Who Let the Dogs Out?" by the Baha Men. (A while before PH came out, but also a while after RWS.) Does anyone know what happened to this? Was it made up? Was it going to happen at first and then didn't end up happening? Does anyone know what was up with it?

Well, he was interviewed for the magazine a LONG time ago, but that was long before "Who Let the Dogs Out" was released. I haven't read that magazine probably since that issue, so I wouldn't know. But that sounds to me like someone heard a parody of the song and assumed it was by Al and didn't bother checking their facts before printing the article.

It was probably just a misreported rumor or something, but it sounds like an Ask Al-worthy question.

Right, he was interviewed for it in 1991. But a few years later (forget the exact month year, but sometime after "Who Let The Dogs Out?" was released) they had a Music issue. They had a lot of different mentions of Al (one of which talked about a fan asking Al to sign his arm) but one of them mentioned the "Who Let the Dogs Out" parody.

Wow. I was just cleaning out my old magazines from when I was little, and I actually found the issue with the mention. It's the Winter 2001 issue.

But now, having read the snippet again about the parody, it seems like a lot more like a guess, than a confirmed thing Al said to them.
