Well thats cool. BUt it makes it sound like AL was campaigning for the star, not the fans.

Yeah, minnick, it does sound that way, doesn't it?

hehe, "schmaltz-fest"!
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Very cool, but it kind of makes it seem like Al hasn't done much since Amish Paradise. Which obviously isn't true.

Well the writer did make up for that in the entry by saying about how Al has put out more stuff since, so I can overlook it anyway

Very nice mention...and bonus, no Michael Ian Black :whoot:

I noticed that someone who commented on the entry (at the site) said that the author needed to look for newer stuff, which would have been pretty much the only way to find out about the songs on Poodle Hat, so I don't blame him for thinking Al didn't do anything in 2003 (however, the author should have remembered "The Saga Begins").

Shame, shame, shame. At least he didn't act like some people I know of and pretend Al hasn't done anything since Eat It. Besides, yeah, he did admit that he hadn't been looking.

"Weird Al" Yankovic Offers Free Parody; Makes Reference to Halo 2
By Louis Bedigian

Parody king "Weird Al" Yankovic is still few moons away from releasing his next full-length album. But you can get a brand-new song (which won't be on the new album) by visiting his Official Web site. Here's the full story, direct from WeirdAl.com:

"HEY!
How would you like to download a brand-new Weird Al song... for free? Yeah, we thought you might. Right-click (ctrl-click for Mac) on one of the links below, and select "save target as" (or "download linked file" for Mac). Don't say we never gave you anything!
You can download it here, here, here, here, here, here, here, or here."

Titled "You're Pitiful," the song parodies James Blunt's inescapable hit, "You're Beautiful," and makes a hilarious reference to Halo 2.

Download it by clicking any of the links above, or by visiting www.WeirdAl.com.
