Hey everybody, after searching for more spoilers for the upcoming album, I discovered this fairly recent interview Al did with Wal-Mart Online Radio.

The host knew what he was talking about, kept a humorous tone, asked good questions, and got along with Al great. No spoilers I swear, as Al gives his usual, "It's my best album yet" with no secrets. You have to sign up and download an installer but it's totally free and I'd say it's worth it.

Just search for "Weird Al" and there will be a free download from 2006. (If this is posted anywhere else, then I'm horribly sorry.)

I don't see where to download it. :( All I see is downloads for song's...

ETA: I found the thing to download... I'm downloading it now and will add a comment within the next 20 minutes (hopefully).

ETA: That interview was awesome!

They sure don't make it easy to access!

I'll have to listen at work (if I can). All I heard was a bit about Bella, then it faded out.

Great find, FY! Thanks!

Nice find! I just listened. When he was asked what artists/songs were off limits for parody, he said that benefit/charity songs are. That may stamp out the rumors of a song he was said to be parodying, which was mentioned in the spoilers forum.

Thanks for finding the interview. I enjoyed listening to it quite a bit. I never knew he named his dog after Bela Lugosi! I am a big classic monster movie fan as well so that is cool he gave the original Count Dracula a nod.
I wish he would have given a tidbit of info as to when to expect the new album but at least it was something new to listen to.
The interviewer did a great job!

Well, presumably it was Suzanne who named HER dog after Bela Lugosi, since I believe Bela became a Yankovic by marriage, so to speak.
"Weird Al" has a charisma that's all his own. The awkward, the misshapen, the socially inept flock to his banner.

That was a pretty cool interview. Nice find!

 I guess that new parody mentioned in the spoiler forum has just been proven false.

Very cool interview! He said some very interesting things, at least one of which is going to have all of us spoiler people scratching our heads.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

Awesome! Thanks for the heads-up on this. It took me 5+ hours (really) to download the software, then the interview. It was worth the wait!
Hoping the Al goodness never ends...
