Actually I was taking that for granted. I figured the commentary would definitely have our good pal Emo in it. You cant have a commentary without Emo.

:whoot: That will be great! I still laugh every time I hear his commentary on UHF.
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

I got a Google alert about Emo Philips that contained this tidbit:

Philips also appeared in several projects with Weird Al Yankovic in the '80s and '90s, both in the flesh as a clumsy shop teacher in the movie "UHF" and as a cartoon in Weird Al's Saturday morning TV show that will be released on DVD (with commentary by Philips) later this year.

That's cool! :)

He recently bought a black, convertible Volkswagen from Yankovic, but has been unable to unravel the mystery of operating a stick shift.

Thanks for sharing your Google alert :)

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

Yeah, I also think it was more or less to be assumed, but still, it's great to read some confirmation.

Al's pal, Ben Folds, will be on the new CBS show called "Love Monkey" tonight at 10 pm EST! The show is about an A&R rep for a major record label in New York, played by Tom Cavanaugh. Apparently, there will be different musicians on different episodes. This is only the second show. I wonder if Ben will act, or just play. We'll find out tonight, eh?

Weird, random, but satisfying little acting (As himself) cameo :Y

It was a little too Simpsonish though...."Hey,do you know my famous friend?"

(We need to get that "Ben Plays for the Queen" concert on dvd  )
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

I loved that exchange about the Queen.

It went something like this *not sure how accurate, but it's close*:

Tom: So, will you be at the benefit?

Ben: No, I'll in London playing for the Queen

Tom: The Queen of England?

Ben: The only one there is.

I liked how he said "Rock the Schools!", too. *That was the name of the benefit concert*

It was cool seeing him. Marshall and I were watching, abnd he came on, and I was like "There he is!"
