Is that pic allowed to be used? It was used on The Mothership...kristineslipson @ Sep 23 2005, 11:42 PM wrote: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v253/ ... parody.jpg

You won't really "get in trouble." There's nothing Bermuda can do if you decide to use a picture that he's posted on weirdal.com. But he prefers that you do NOT use any pictures from the site. Also, the mods here support Bermuda's position and may edit or remove your picture if you use something from the mothership.twinkieweinersandwiches24_7 @ Sep 24 2005, 10:37 AM wrote: But anyway, are pics from weirdal.com allowed to be used in Photoshop stuff? I don't use them just because I might get in trouble O-), but I don't know if it's really a rule or not. Mods?If they are, nice work, Kristine! If they aren't,

There have been a few problems regarding pictures on the forum recently. So I'd like to clarify just what is and is not acceptable.
1. No pictures from weirdal.com are to be used for avatars, photo art or anything else unless you are the actual owner of the photo. This is non-negotiable. We can hardly call ourselves a fan board if we don't respect the wishes of Al or Bermuda with respect to copyrights and the webpage etc. Think we won't recognize if a picture is from The Mothership? Think again. Someone will, count on it. If you happen to find a picture that someone else has purloined from The Mothership, you still can't use it. Even if you didn't know that was the original source.
