If my vote counts, I'd say no. Awards and nominations should only be for the appropriate time frame that they cover. Categories change with the Awards ceremony for "what's hot" at the moment. Like, for example, I'm assuming there are no concert review categories this time around, but hopefully by the Summer/Fall 2006 Awards it will be back in full force.

If you want to acknowledge something that happened prior to the eligible time frame, I'd suggest doing it as a "lifetime achievement" or "honorable mention" award.
