Exactly. The song is pretty much unintelligible gibberish anyway, so it's okay if he messed it up a little. I'm sure they were fine with it.

I got my Songs for Silverman DualDisc today. I love it! The "Making of.." part on the dvd side is really great. It's funny and informative, and Al is on there, recording the backing vocals for "Time" with Ben's band mates!

Of course, I already had heard all the songs on the cd when they were on Vh1.com, but I'm glad I have them to listen to whenever I want now. This is such a nice cd! William Shatner is also on the dvd segment. He apparently was in the video for "Landed". Anyway, I love the cd/dvd idea. Made my day when it came in the mail!

Oh, and Bens' daughter Gracie is a real cutie!

Some captures from the Dvd side of Songs for Silverman:

Here, Al has just finished singing a kind of long "ahhhh". Not really high, just some notes that gradually went up, then down, then up, and up again, and were held during that. Al has sung longer sequences, but, I'm sure it was still hard work.
