A Few Sightings

Wow.......ok. WHen I first saw "a few sightings" I thought you guys were going to act like al was bigfoot or something.......But anyway, the only time I see Al on tv is when I'm watching Naked Gun or Spy Hard on HBO, or the episode of THE SIMPSONS that he was in.......

I was just watching a rerun of Super Millionaire, and there was a question about Weird Al.

The question was:

I'm always worried about game shows that ask about Al's parodies because there's always the chance they didn't really research the question and base their "correct" answer on an incorrect assumption.

Remember, the "Plain Dealer," a major Midwest daily newspaper, thought Al sang "The 12 Pains of Christmas."

I was watching a special on Much More Music that was entitled The 40 Greatest Videos of all time" or something, and Eminem's "My Name Is" video made it somehow. One of the commentary girls said that this video reminded her of a "Weird Al" Yankovic video, but that it was more creative.

There was a flash of I lost On Jeopardy.

It was the part where he had his foot up in the air with the stupid glasses and stuff. I guess she was trying to prove that Al was more slapstick/cartoony humour or something.

Ok, let me rephrase that. When did they flash the clip from ILOJ? Was it while they were talking about "My Name Is"?

Yeah, they showed clips from the videos they were featuring, and then they cut to various people who were supposedly experts on pop culture or something and they commented on why they were chosen. While the one lady was talking about "My Name is" they showed the Al bit.

It was cool because the videos for Money For Nothing and Give it Away were on there, too.
