I can see why they would call it a parody. I think maybe we will have to put BP in a category all by itself.

I wonder how Al would classify it?

I think the cartoon is from the 60s actually. Al didn't write it.

I have to say that George of the Jungle is my least favourite song of Al's. I don't know why, I just don't like it, and usually skip it, though recently I've been taking a 'no skips' policy on all my CDs.
I am gone until June, as a result of the Junior Cert, a very large exam.

I, personally, have never really understood what this song means and is here for. I mean I know it's the George of the Jungle theme song but why did Al record it on his album? Al didn't write the song did he? Did he do it because when Dare to be Stupid came out George of the Jungle was popular? I just never have understood what it was doing smack dab in the middle of one of Al's albums.

Just wondering.

I thought Scotti Bros. suggested that Al do a cover of a song (seriously, one suggestion per album is enough <_<), so he chose this one. I think it's a really good cover, but that doesn't mean I think Al should put one on evey album, that would take up space for his own stuff. :D

I always just thought he was a fan and wanted to do it, but what do I know? Apparently less than some record executive.
