How high do you think?? Whats the highest an Al album's ever charted?

A lack of a lead off video i think will hurt sales of PH

I would honestly be shocked if Poodle Hat debuted outside of the top ten. Different factors apply to this...the whole Eminem/no video controversy, the fact that Al sells pretty well regardless, and the fact that album sales aren't very healthy right now period. The last two number one debut albums (The Isley Brothers and Marilyn Manson) didn't sell that well for number ones.

If the album debuts well, MTV will certainly play the Eminem angle to death, but it'd be shameful if anyone loses sight that Al would debut well on his own, and that for an artist who's been around as long as he has has a fan base that's always growing. Yes, the Eminem thing will help the album, but it needs to be stated that there's a point where the Eminem thing ends, and Al begins.
You have quickly thought up such matchless phrase?

That always gets overlooked, doesn't it? But we know the truth...

The highest an Al CD got to was #14, it was Bad Hair Day. RWS got to #16, so let me guess #18.

(BTW, I don't think the lack of a video will lose sales; in fact, everyone knows about the ALbum because of the constant media coverage on Eminem's refusal. Plus, I don't think the TSB video was heavily played anywhere, so it didn't do much for RWS.)
I'm ranking every Beatles song on my new pop culture blog. Check it out!

I'm sending all my good vibes out and hoping for a top 10 debut. I really believe this is Al's best chance to finally get one.
