'Cause some of us are too old to be on summer vacations...ergo, days are NOT practical.

That's okay, my friends threw a surprise at me. First, we were going to Ohio for a week, then they're car broke down, so we weren't, which is what I based my days I can play off of. Suddenly, I come back from OC, and we're leaving August 4th! Ack! They love throwing surprises at me.

Based on your most recent responses and posts, I'm discerning the following:

BAD DAYS IN FUTURE:
AlsGal27 -- July 30 to first week of August [August 7th or 9th ??]
American Pie -- None
DrSteggy -- July 24- August 3
Manda -- None?
stupidsurgeon27 -- August 4th for one week [August 10th or 11th??]
TheMeccaOfAlbinoPoodles -- None
weirdallie27 -- None
WeirdAlFanatic27 -- July 30 only

AlsGal27 and stupidsurgeon27 (Gina and Cindy), please PLEASE post here in this thread ASAP the actual dates you will be able to participate in these games, having returned back from your early August trips. Monday, August 2nd may not apparently be a good date to hold the next challenge if two or three of our (presently-eight-and-soon-after-this-challenge-to-be-seven) remaining Survivors can't attend. If there are serious objections, Thursday August 5th may need to be avoided too. I'm doing my best to accommodate as many of you as I can, but there have to be some limits. Again, as our numbers dwindle, it'll be much easier to accommodate. But for now, we'll have to grin and bear it. Everyone still in the game, please post your comments on the remaining dates.

Sorry, there is NO WAY I will be able to participate tomorrow.

We wrap up our national show tomorrow, and have a big auction and have our annual meeting for NAMHSA--plus in between we've managed to have another crisis that needs dealing with. Its after midnight here now and I need to be up in 5 hours but I'm still cleaning up from the mess of today. Friday I am busy all day too. this is stuff I committed too a year ago, I cannot blow it off.

I would like to appeal the next challenge scheduled for Monday--I am forced to sit this one out, and these were dates I said were bad prior to agreeing to play. Monday I am driving from KY to NY (that's 12 hours in the car) and will be forced to sit out that one too, thereby ejecting me from the game. I have not missed any other challenges and I would like to ask that the next challenge be rescheduled for Tuesday.

*looks at her friend's information* We'll be leaving in the morning of the 12th and that is a 14 hour drive back home. I don't know the exact time we'll be leaving. Depends on when we get up and get everything packed.

I'm very sorry for the short notice. My friend's sprung it on me once I came back from OC. I can completely understand if the challenges continue and I get voted out and everything. I understand.

Ok, I don't know if I am going to Florida or not now! We're supposedly leaving tomorrow, but I got in a big fight with my Dad last night so I don't know if I even am going. I'd shoot myself if I had to be in a car with my Dad and Stepmom for 4 days. I'm trying to get my mom to let me stay home and she's leaning towards yes. I'll post tomorrow morning if I'm going or not. Sorry, that's the soonest I would know. And as for August 9th, that's the first day of official soccer practice. It's every weeknight from 7:30-9:30. It's mandatory so I can't get out it unless I have an excuse like I'm dying or my leg broke off because I was wrestling an alligator. You know, that old excuse.

I won't be at the challenge tonight, either, because we're doing some team "bonding" at the movies tonight. I'm being dragged out there to waste $7 on that Hilary Duff movie because the team loves Chad Michael Murray and they need an excuse to make us all go see it. So at 7:20 I'm going to be bored out of my mind! Sorry for the crappy schedule. During the school year, it's so much easier to be around....

Oh man, that sucks! You poor thing. I'd kill myself before I went and saw a Hilary movie. <shudder>
