No, I agree. Heck, I got sick of the concept back during "I Love the '70s."
Same here. By that point, I was rolling my eyes. Still had some funny moments, but nothing like the original
I Love the 80's, which I thought was witty and informative... and it had Al.
Besides, I'm far removed from the 70's, so many of the things were a miss to me.

I don't know who selects the topics to cover, but most of it is very much "off the mark." I don't remember the 1970s as well as I would like to, but I know the stupid "dancing baby" thing wasn't anything more than a blip on the 1990s pop culture radar...hardly worthy of making it the show's logo.
It is? Oh brother.
Terminator 2 was a bigger pop-culture phenomenom than the "dancing baby" (and for a very good reason).

VH1 just hates to let a novel, successful concept go. How many times did "Pop-Up Video" air during any given day? Or "Behind the Music?" This is simply a very thinly veiled attempt to milk the success of a mini-series for everything it's worth.
Yes, or learn how to regulate it. They're swamping us with these novel mini-series. It would be like having MST3K on every day. Instead of doing every friggin' decade over and over, maybe they should have a 1 or 2 hour special at the end of the year covering the fads and events of the year (example: air something on 2004 in December of 2004). Don't over show it, either. That way, it's current, garners witty commentary, and won't be over-killed.
Oh, and it should have Al, too.
