And rumor has it that he may even pop up on a few VH1 shows this fall, including "I Love The 90's - Part Deux" and "Cheestastic Video Tricks."

Cool Mecca thanks for answering that question for me I wasn't sure how that was done considering I have never edited or filmed a show or movie. Cool something new that I learned again today!

1996 airs TONIGHT AT 9:00 EASTERN TIME (8:00 Pacific)! That means in about........37(?) Minutes it'll be on!

I think if they were gonna say it at all, it woulda been during Gangstas Paradise. I thought when they were saying Coolio cleverly turned Stevies lyrics, they would say "but he didna appreciate it when Weird Al did the same to him"

Turns out it wasn't mentioned.

HOWEVER, the Jay and Silent Bob segment made up for it.

(Maybe in part "deux" they'll mention BHD...)

I doubt they would've, Mecca. The whole I love the 90s, 80s, etc thing is for the really mainstream stuff. I don't remember how widespread the news with Coolio/Al thing was, but I don't think enough to make it into an hour show for that year.
