I can't think of any Weird Al song that is horrible. Each album seems to get better and better lyrically and muscially both with the parodies and originals. I think he is one of the most talented lyric writers on the planet, so any critiques I have are based on Weird-Al standards, not normal ones! :)

I wouldn't say it's necessarily his worst, but I always thought "This Song's Just Six Words Long" wasn't that good lyrically. Which I guess was done to match the unoriginality of the original?! Also it sounds like he's saying "This *song is* just six words long", which is seven words long! (I'm pretty sure in Ask Al he said he was trying to make it sound like song's, but it does sound like song is to me.)

I don't like the Plumbing Song. Maybe because I don't like the song musically, but the lyrics don't grab me either.

Btw, Christmas at Ground Zero is one of my favorite Weird Al songs. Besides being politically interesting (the topic itself, Reagan in the video, etc.), which is something he doesn't do as much any more, I just think lyrically and musically it's one of his best. The first time I heard the song after ground zero started being used for 9/11, I got kinda sad. I already obviously was very sad about 9/11 itself, but it occurred to me that the song would never be as funny for people anymore because of that. But even with that for me it's still one of my alltime favorites.

I can't stand:

Buckingham Blues

Toothless People

Germs

Wanna B UR Lover

I think C@GZ is getting a bad rap now-a-days. In this time of hightened fear in our country, and our realization that we aren't invincible, things that had been acceptable to joke about 5 years ago, are not funny.

Had this question been asked in 1999, C@GZ probably would never have come up as a bad song, and while I don't think Nuclear War is funny, It was clearly meant as tounge in cheek, and therefore funny when it was made, and still funny right up to Sept. 11.

Also I personally like Trigger Happy, but again, for the purposes of being PC it's gotten a bad rap. Al has his Morbid moments, and thats one of the reasons why we like him. He'd never condone any of that stuff, but it's funny when you listen to it in the context its meant to be listened in.

I don't see anyone not liking "Why Does This Always Happen To Me?" but it's just as morbid as C@GZ and Trigger Happy

The ones that immediately spring to mind are most of the parodies on OTDE (The White Stuff; Taco Grande; The Plumbing Song). The original songs were very weak to begin with, and I never really cared for their inclusion on the album.

How could anyone hate George of the Jungle? Al would be insulted that you dislike his talent and his taste! No, just kidding.
