Anybody notice this about "Ebay"? (spoils the last

Post by DrewBoo »

At the end of "Ebay", when he sings the last note, he does this:

"EEEEEEbbaaaaayyyyyy ee ee ee ee e e e......ee............ee...........ee..............................................ee."

He wavers his pitch and the exaggerates it hilariously.

I noticed that too, it's a very subtle yet funny add on at the end.

Ja! I have to agree with that one- That's the funniest part! (I also liked the rest of it, of course.)

One thing I thought was funny on ebay is when he says "my house" followed by a pause as if he's listing more stuff. It sounds like he bought his house on ebay then it goes "..is filled" did anyone else think that?

that didn't really stand out to me, because I am unfortunately acquainted with the rhythm of the original song, and the lyrics don't indicate a pause.

Well they could have somehow got the instrumental and phased it into the full version, thereby making an a capella version. Or maybe someone leaked the full mix to them.

ETA:
You're right, there are only a handful of Weird Al pellas out there, and they came from the bonus material on the latest CD. But those are only from Al's original songs, not the parodies, and in deliberately 'fair' quality mp3s. I'm affiliated with Weird Al, so I have the .wav pellas to the parodies as well. :)
:9~ Rare a capellas. Me wanty!

Well, it is never too late to begin. So, what are your opinions on the song?

I love it! Mostly, because I can relate. Favorite line? "A++ they all say. They love me on eBay".

:D
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!
