Full-screen and widescreen anamorphic formats
does that mean 4:3 and 16:9 ?
so i don't have black bars on my pc dvd player?
Anamorphic simply means that if you have a widescreen TV, you can view it in its original aspect ratio without the black bars. It will fill up the entire screen, so on a normal TV an anamorphic image would look streched (unless you like that "sitting in the front row of the theater" look).
And of course, this feature can be set on most DVD players (although I'm not 100% sure about DVD-ROM's).
If you have a normal PC monitor, then the movie would probably look best in letterbox widescreen (or full-frame, depending on your personal viewing tastes).
