Al Mentioned On Super Millionaire

Hey gang-
Al had a brief mention on Super Millionaire game show tonight on ABC. The contestant was up to the $50,000 level and the question was:
Which of the following songs was not the target of a parody by musical jokester "Weird Al" Yankovic?
a. Gangster's Paradise
b. My Sharona
c. Like a Virgin
d. I Will Survive

The contestant had to use his last "regular" lifeline! He had to phone a friend! The friend got it right quickly and he won the $50,000. I believe he is on his way up the money ladder on the next episode. He was at the $500,000 level at the end of tonight's episode.
The answer by the way is very obvious. I wish I was a contestant and had that easy of a question!!!
Regis did not meniton meeting Al on his Live show.

Coolthanks for mentioning this! I completely forgot that Super Millionaire was on.

I would have been screaming like an idiot at the contestant for not knowing it. At least his phone-a-friend knew.

I don't think it's that obvious thoughwell for us fans it's obvious of course, but I think "I Will Survive" is just screaming to have a parody written for it.

But all of the other songs mentioned, Al's parody is pretty well-known.

My teacher told me today! Cool!

"I Will Survive" was the right one.

it's not like anybody knows WHO Al is nowadays, it seems like my teacher is the only one who knows who he is [her brother had the LPs]

Yeah, I saw that on last night! I was screaming at the guy for being an idiot! I couldn't believe he didn't know it. I knew it the second the first three answers were read, I'm like D!

Actually, that question is confusing because there are TWO correct answers!!!

True! He parodied "Gangsta's Paradise." If I were that guy, I'd sue Millionaire.
