Al was mentioned and a segment from his SLN video was played on "Access Hollywood" this evening. It followed a segment on Nirvana's SLTS video. They were counting down the top 10 videos of all time. They mentioned how the cheerleaders in the original video were strippers and where it was filmed, and how Al used the same set and extras in his video.

On Better Homes and Garden (an aussie show) they were doing some changes and were setting up something at the back when they began playing The Hardware Store songs intro. I cracked up. The ironic thing is that my sisters partner who is also an al fan was at our place so it was even funnier. We just had these huge smiles on our faces. Dad didnt get it.

Eat It is on TV so much that you wonder if they even have to ask Al to use it or not.

BTW alberta1, we get Better Homes and Gardens as a magazine over here...I mean, not that I read it...:nervous:
Cane and Rinse: weekly thoughtful video game discussion. Give it a listen, won't you?

I just downloaded "Feel the Force" from TheForce.Net / Fanfilms.com. It's an improvised mockumentary by Peter Haynes parodying the people who put Jedi down as their religion on the census.

At a few points in the film, the followers of the Jedi sing "praise songs" to the Force...TSB and Yoda. :pentiums:
"Wow, another triple negative!"

Yeah, Eat It is on a lot!

Also, on one of the Popeil Infomercials I've heard Mr. Popeil many times as well.
