I think Al should make a cameo appearance on this show! Or maybe supply his voice for a character or something. No, not literally rip his voice box out and 'supply' it to the show!
They are making new episodes now. Ya never know.
What do YOU think???

They were, but the new episodes got HORRIBLE ratings (the new episodes were just vulgar and disgusting.) So SpikeTV quit ordering episodes of R&S.

Yet lately, every few months one will hear a "Spumco is back in production for a second season" rumor, so who knows what's going on over there.weirdojace @ May 17 2004, 04:09 PM wrote: They were, but the new episodes got HORRIBLE ratings (the new episodes were just vulgar and disgusting.) I used to be a big "Ren and Stimpy" fan back in the day (I have tons of info and data on the show that I collected at the time, some of which I've finally found uses for!), but I was really disappointed with the Spike TV episodes. Considering everything that happened, it pains me to say that Spumco did a better job with the show back when Nickelodeon was sitting on their backs. Maybe all they needed to make the "Adult Party Cartoon" episodes funny was a little restraint.
But anyway, I'm also surprised Al didn't do a guest voice for the original show, since Spumco seemed to like having on odd-yet-cool celebrities (Heck, Frank Zappa was the Pope!). I know after Spumco was relieved from its production duties that the Games studio tried to hire Al to write for the show (something I think I asked Al about in a certain column whose name escapes me), but I don't know if he was ever asked to appear on the show.
