I didn't know the Buckingham Blues part, where could we hear this unreleased version?

hmmm, did he really perform that song? Dave? Bermuda? I know he wanted to parody Jack and Diane with Buckingham Blues, but he couldn't. Anyway, the Homer and Marge song wasn't written by Al, but he did get to sing it.

4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:
"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11
So awesome!

What?! That's news for me! They invite "Weird Al" Yankovic, the Prince of Parody, onto a TV show and have someone else write the parody he'll be singing?!algonacchick @ Apr 25 2004, 06:26 PM wrote: Anyway, the Homer and Marge song wasn't written by Al, but he did get to sing it.

Ask Al on August 7th 2003 wrote: Originally I was only intended to be in the body of the show, but the recording session went so well, the writers thought it would be a great idea for me to sing an extended version of the parody over the closing credits (and of course, I did too)! So they came up with some additional lyrics and I went back to the Fox lot several weeks later to record that as well.

And the song is actually just called "Jack and Diane."
I'm ranking every Beatles song on my new pop culture blog. Check it out!
