VIP experience

Post by weird_el »

OK, how is it arranged this year? When does the pre show party start? Any games, food, swag?
What's the protocol for the after show meet n greet?

You just get to shop for merch and hang out with people before the show, there is no "pre-party" or something. And after the show all VIP-guests are gathered in a Victorian-style decorated hall with tables and pizza and there you get your posters and music sheets, and you wait in line to meet Al. Once it's your turn, you go to a special room where JW takes a professional picture of you with Al and Al talks to you and signs one item of your choice. And after you say goodbye to Al they give you your pictures already printed. That's pretty much it. :)

Question! I bought my VIP for the Seattle show and I got confirmation my ticket was printed, but ticketmaster doesn't say it's vIP, it just shows that I paid the VIP price... is this normal?

I think it's fine. When I was waiting in line to enter the venue in Ft.Lauderdale I heard the venue staff asking JW "How are we suppose to check if it's a VIP ticket?" and he told them to look at the price, so they only checked the price on the ticket.

Question
How big are the custom posters?
Will they fit in a standard frame?
I'm thinking I'll want Al to sign mine. It's got a cool Melanie theme.

The posters are 18” x 24”. Btw, I've just finished hanging mine (but without framing them). :)
