OK, my review of this show:
IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!
The end.
No.
Seriously, maybe that's because it was only my third Weird Al concert and I never had a chance to seat at the front row before, but this experience was WAY BEYOND ANY EXPECTATIONS. I literally had the best time of my life! I honestly don't understnd why some people are dissing this tour, the set list and the performace itself and the organization - everything was great and highly professional, as always!
Sitting on the front row gave me the oppotrunity to see both highs and lows of the show through a "magnifying glass", and I abosulely loved and embraced every single one of them!
And I want to thank Dave, Jackie and MarlinsGirl for being awesome and hanging out with me and, especially, JW who made this experience unforgettable! He saved the day! Several times. Not only he helped me when I lost my ability to speak in front of Al once again(which I regained later, though), he was also very kind to get me a very special gift.
The Meet&Greet was really nice, all that Victorian style with candelabra and the photoshoped picture of Al in a blue coat hanging above the fireplace.
And of cource, Al was the kindest and hugged me three times.
Me: Al, I was told to hug you on the behalf of the whole russian Weird Al fan community... Like, five people (no).
Al:
Ok.
Anyway, the things I learned: 1) If you coming to a Weird Al show from Siberia - always inform Al on that via Twitter; 2)Front row is the best! 3) JW is great, god bless him; 4)Al is still cool and nice and deserves our love and support!
