I saw a show here in 2012. Best seat I ever had for an Al show! I won't be going this time. Anyone going?

Should throw this one into the mix too if it happens to have some good seats left in March. One of the few places I have not been in Canada.

Cool! That venue is intimate enough that I would have thought there wouldn't be too many "bad" seats if seats are left...

Are there any other tourchasers of Canada you know of besides yourself? The country is so vast and the cities generally spread out with a few clusters here and there. I am impressed with anyone who attends or even considers attending shows in multiple provinces! :good:

No, I am the only one I know from Ottawa and Ontario area although there have to be some who just don't use this forum. I would guess.

Yeah we heard them soundcheck and rehearse it in Calgary for a good half hour when we grabbed our passes at will call. We figured we had spoiled our cover but it was for this show instead. So we got to hear them do this, sounded great!

The Black Crowes' version is itself a cover. The original is by Otis Redding. I'm curious if Al credited either artist.

Tricky I guess. It's one of those rare occasions that the cover becomes much more well known than the original. Like Hendrix' version of All Along The Watchtower.
