But let's not be greedy. He dedicates about 75 minutes of a 90 minute set to purely original songs, so he should be allowed to throw in a parody to please the people that aren't exactly "one of us".

I took a couple of short videos at Tarrytown but last I knew this forum had a strict zero tolerance policy of posting them here....

The venue was insanely strict about phones and cameras. People kept getting scolded for taking pictures. We all got searched with those metal detector wand things before going inside too, haha.

And now we just need to hear Just a Groovy Guy, That Boy Could Dance, Cable TV or Mission Statement to complete another one.

Al's been using his MIDI accordion throughout the shows,as well as a table with a percussion selection.
Well, Al may still have to perform The Weird Al Show Theme for what you said about RWS to be true. I think Alpocalypse may be the first album to realistically have ALL of its songs played live by the end of this your if he just plays "Ringtone" at some point.

That's great!

Hey, someone said AL mentioned a spreadsheet at the show. Do you think he was talking about the song tracking sheet I made? It did get a lot of likes in the Facebook group.

Just getting the song played during a concert should count. I highly doubt we're ever going to see a truly live version of that or Weasel or Sports Song (unless Al ever did get to play the Super Bowl and they hired a marching band)

When Pearl Jam did their full album shows for Ten and Yield, they still played Master/Slave and Red Dot over the PA as they walked on.

I was the one who mentioned it in the other thread. He was definitely talking about your spreadsheet. I'll try to badly rephrase what Al said on stage:
"Add that song to your spreadsheet. Someone is really keeping a tally of all the songs played on tour."
