Love the sign! Not just a sign either, look at that detail! Good job and I'm glad it was on the set for you.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

I've lurked here for a few years since the Mandatory 2015 tour since it's a great resource for info. I've been a fan since the fairly early days I guess, 1982 maybe...well, whenever I first heard I Love Rocky Road on Dr Demento but my first time seeing him was the summer of 2015. My youngest daughter just turned 11 and is a big fan and this was our third show in 4 years. For me, the setlist was almost perfect. My favorite song is The Biggest Ball of Twine...so I could have left after that and been a happy camper. The fact I was able to hear so many others from "my era" like Nature Trail, Midnight Star, One More Minute and UHF was just icing on the cake. I had the good fortune of contacting NH Weird Al Fan and was able to arrange Meet and Greet for this show which made my daughters day, week, year...and I gotta say mine too. My daughter was REALLY hoping for Albuquerque but alas...we'll have to go see him again and hope he plays it. This is an absolutely amazing and fun tour and hope everyone enjoys as much as I did.

Oh dang that's me!

I decided not to say too much about the show before Alicia put together the video, but here's some more details I didn't go over:

- Al opened the show, joking about how Emo performed "virtually the same set every night," mirroring the opposite sentiment Emo said about Al earlier in the show.
- Al started the riff for Biggest Ball of Twine. He used his MIDI accordion to make a guitar sound, joking, "I bet you didn't know I could play the acoustic guitar." A guy in the audience held up a sign that said, "TWINE BALL OR BUST" right in time with the song. (Just found out he's a member here now!)
- Jim's work on the Vanna White song was AMAZING.
- Al kept picking up instruments off the table during You Don't Love Me Anymore and putting them back down as a gag, like he used to do with the prop guitar several years ago.
- During If That Isn't Love, I made air quotes visibly when Al started singing the, "all your so-call friends" line came up, and I could've sworn Al looked right at me and did them back. I know it probably wasn't me that prompted that, but it was still cool!
- Al talked about using the foot peddle for the accordion for the first time, mentioning it had 28 pedals before launching into Jackson Park Express. Several people sang along to, "I LIKE YOUR BOOBS." Someone yelled, "PLAY IT AGAIN" after the song ended, and Al very bluntly said, "No!"
- Steve played some "putting down the accordion" music for Al while he put away his accordion and playing Why Does This Always Happen To Me. It was a quick bass riff, but it was fun!
- After playing a drum solo during the show, Al said, "For the seasoned fan with the spreadsheet, that is the second drum solo of the tour. You gotta keep track of these things!"
- Al told us he really appreciated our support before playing The Saga Begins. It was a nice moment!

Aww, thanks for the shoutout and kind words, David and Mason.
I am glad I was able to find a few people to use my extra tickets and/or VIP passes.
I was upset with myself the past few months for buying extras and was afraid I would never sell them. I still took a loss overall, but seeing how happy and grateful people were to get the chance to meet Al made it worth it.

It was nice to meet you both, and I'm glad you had a great time at the show. I had a BLAST! I went to 3 shows in a row in NH and MA, and I wish I could go to even more!

Yes, it was so good to meet you, and so many other people at this show! I definitely made some new friends and was happy to hang out with my Jeopardy co-stars and everyone else that would tolerate me that night.

Almost winning Jeopardy right before the show put me on Cloud 9, and the whole experience afterward made my night. So many amazing things happened!

Great video review Mason! I loved seeing how excited you were and your after show review captured perfectly those feelings and the experience we all go through after seeing Al perform. Congratulations on LOSING on Jeopardy, how cool!

In Biggest Ball of Twine, around the time he says "so began our three day journey", the audience cheers. Anyone know why?
