World of Weird Al Yankovic

Steve told me once that they had it rehearsed before. It is certainly possible. I'd rather hear Genius In France live because of all the solos and stuff, Jim's guitar work is amazing there. Would just be all around crazy live.

During his interview at RI Comic Con, Al mentioned that it would be 5 guys on stage, which probably indicates that Rubén will be a part of this tour (yay!)

And he also mentioned there will be no polka at all... which is understandable, but still...

Oh really. Interesting! Leaves more room for originals then!

Just got tickets for my family and I for the Santa Fe show! This will be our first Weird Al show. No polkas?

More originals is the way to go next year! This will most likely only happen once and you will actually be getting a lot more accordion than usual which is why they'd be nixing the standard polka.

Just an update: If there was any doubt before, Rubén himself has confirmed that he will be a part of the 2018 tour. The rumors were just...well, rumors.

For a first show this will not be a big change for you but may not be what you were expecting. I still think it will be fun and you will all have a great time. My daughter is going to see him for the first time at 8 years old. I told her it was not going to be the usual show daddy has gone to see and told her about. She did not care but I think the meet & greet I got for us to do is enough to make her really excited about it all.

There is no chance at all they would be disappointed. It's a Live concert and if they love Al then they'll be in awe of his on stage presence and they'll love anything he plays. Your all in for an amazing time!

Bermuda posted some pictures from rehearsal. In one of them you can clearly see Al is sitting on a stool.
